MUSIC PRODUCTION

With AX32 and MTRX, we have served as the audio infrastructure backbone in many music production studios all over the world.

All recording studios are unique. Some have tons and tons of simultaneous recording channels for recording large bands and orchestras live, while others rely on recording layers upon layers and therefore have less input channels.

But in both cases, there may be a lot of insert points with outboard gear for mixing, and whatever the case, we have a solution that will fit your exact and personal needs.

In recent years, many of the music streaming platforms have also decided to also  support immersive Dolby Atmos Music mixes. This is not an overnight transition, but it seems like this is the direction the music production sphere is increasingly moving toward.

And as that happens the need for more channels and complex monitoring solutions also increases. Here, our products such as the Thunder|Core series makes perfect sense.

IDEAL PRODUCTS FOR MUSIC PRODUCTION

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

Building a recording and/or mixing studio from scratch always means that you have some fundamental choices to make. Back in the day, it might have been a strategy for how to solder/wire the a patch bay to the main console, as well as making room for growth in the rack shelves.

And once you have built up your perfect studio workflow, new technologies come along and tempt you to redesign it all. Like when tape reel machines were replaced by ADAT digital recorders and of course more significantly than in any other case when the DAW made its entry.

Today, AoIP formats such as Dante has a strong foothold and if you were to design a studio from the ground up today, chances are you would look at IP Audio solutions. Our range of products – in particular AX Center, AX64 and AX32 – aims to unite the best from the strictly analog world with a variety of digital formats, including Dante.

With, say, an AX64 in the studio you can integrate your beloved analog outboard gear, as well as setting up a multichannel Dolby Atmos system, covering A/D and D/A conversion plus Dante, MADI, Lightpipe and AES (as an optional expansion card).
