IBC 2025 in Recap!
As usual, we had a great time at IBC in Amsterdam. We always get to see a lot of our sales partners, but also highly skilled and enthusiastic end users of our solutions, as well as the pro audio and broadcast media.
One of the headlines for 2025 was ‘All into Networking’ where we offered a sneak peek at the new Ravenna Card with AES67 and ST2110-30, as well as the Dante Card that now also supports AES67 and ST2110-30 when firmware and software are updated.
The Dante firmware update will deliver broader ST 2110-30 and AES67 support, addressing key broadcast requirements. This will be available for download from November 1st 2025 and will be free of charge. The updated Dante SRC card is compatible with all card slot-based Penta and DAD products.
The new functionality requires the use of Audinate Dante Domain Manager in order to enable and manage the ST 2110 functionality. Once it has been set up, it supports:
- Multicast Flows
- Configurable RTP Transmit Port
- Configurable Multicast Address Prefix
- Advanced PTPv2 Clocking Settings
- Configurable Packet Time 1ms/125us
- Configurable RX Latency
Another headline was ‘Thunder | Core for Live Entertainment Applications’ with a special focus on our Thunder | Core product line as a ‘Side Car’ to exiting configurations with a Front of House console, stage racks and a Monitor Mixing platform.
We hosted live presentations of these main topics throughout the show. For now, we have the first session ready, but please do stay tuned, as we will update this page continuously.
